Agnes is kind but a little clumsy, prefers listening to speaking, and wishes her home weren't so messy but is still happy to invite you into it. She is an optimist and a daydreamer, a civil servant by day and a mama and wife at all times. Her first true love was the written word and that love has never abated. She thinks you're lovely.
Beatrice reads classical literature to high school students all day and fairy tales to her two (soon to be three!) little daughters in the evenings. The rest of the time she can be found cooking enormous meals for the army of teenagers that her husband is always bringing home, cleaning up after everyone, reading some more, and laughing very irreverently about it all.
Dedicated to exploring the world and all its many cultures, Elle's adventures have taken her from the marketplaces in Cairo to the depths of Australia's Great Barrier Reef. She's curious about the way joy and sorrow mingle, both in herself and in the world, but she usually has more questions than answers. At home, she's a yoga student, a writer, and a supporter of sustainable agriculture. On sunny days though, she's just a woman in the woods, wandering through life with her husband and their two, small children.
Magdalene is a wife and mother living in the Midwest. She struggles with faith, patience, and housekeeping. Her life is completely normal, which means she often finds the need to escape into something more exotic, either by reading or writing. And sometimes, just sometimes, she sees a glimpse of eternity in the trifles of life.
Sybil is a woman in love. She delights in vintage dresses, traveling, red lipstick, and dancing. She finds meaning and purpose in making others feel loved and important. The greatest joys of her life are found in her husband of four years and her baby girl, who they welcomed into their family in November of 2012. Sybil and her family are currently making the most of living abroad for the first time in Central Asia.
Victoria, a mother to five littles, is a nomad-at-heart who sometimes muses about putting down roots somewhere. She's an unabashed nerd who revels in science fiction and rambling conversations about theology. Her family keeps her laughing, her friends keep her dreaming, and the world keeps her thinking. Victoria and her family are currently living abroad.
